Buckhorn Cholla Bloom

Pine Creek area of Red Rocks, Nevada. June 2008.

Buckhorn Chollas are abundant in Red Rocks. They grow tree-like or shrubby and can reach height up to 6 feet (2 meters).

pretty sure I have never seen one this nice....Chollas seem to be the last to bloom....afraid I am missing them at full bloom....thanks for sharing...sweet
