On Colle Garibaldi, a saddle in Grignetta west ridge, from Sentiero Cecilia a marked Sentiero Giorgio goes down toward Piani dei Resinelli. It's a beautiful path, which crosses the whole SW slope of Grignetta, characterised by hundreds of pinnacles. Later it joins the Diretissima path. Sentiero Giorgio represents the most beautiful connection between Piano dei Resinelli and Rifugio Rosalba. Its difficulty is EE (Italian scale), meaning that it can be done by experienced hikers. It goes much up and down and many parts are exposed and protected by steel cables and ladders. May 31st, 2008.
