He is the king of one of the most beautiful valleys in Kamnik/Steiner Alps, which is also named by him (Matkov kot). On the altitude of almost 1200 meters the farm has been surviving for centuries. The eastern view flies towards Olševa, a ridge mountain, belonging already to Karavanke/Karawanken. Before it, the rocky stand-alone peaks denote a tectonic border. May 2008.
