| Parry's Primrose | [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
Parry's Primrose ( Primula parryi) is a member of the Primrose Family.
It grows in wet meadows, near mountain streams or
on wet rocky slopes up to 12,000 feet.
I took this photo in the meadow on the slopes of Delano Peak in Utah's Tushar Mountains. More photos from this trip:

Voted 10/10 | of the week? Have seen it here
in northern Arizona - beautiful
eye-popping flower, for sure!
Did you happen to see any frogs
up at Mud Lake? Your dog must have
really enjoyed that trip! | | Posted Jun 12, 2008 9:30 pm |

Hasn't voted | Thanks Larry. I don't remember seeing any frogs there. I actually enjoyed Griffith Creek and Poison Creek much better than the lake. Hadrian of course had a blast around there, grass + creek + snow patches = lots of fun for him.
Cheers. | | Posted Jun 13, 2008 3:27 am |
