A really beautiful flower and I also suppose a nice area for hiking even not too hot in summer because it seems that you walked along a forest with the shade of the trees.

Oh yes, plenty of shaded trails in this area. The worst thing about hiking at this time of the year in NC are the pesky bugs flying around your face!
