Food 4 Dinner? [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Food 4 Dinner?
Typical "planter trout" from Woods Canyon Lake, Arizona.
At 7,000 + feet in elevation, this lake is definitely the place to be!
And we all know ... a BAD day of fishing is better than a GOOD day at work!
(Unless, of course, you have one of those awesome guide jobs.)

In my book, it says that Rainbow trout (Salmo gairdneri) are native to the
western United States. Though they can reach lengths of 2', at Woods
Canyon Lake they are normally between 12"-14" long.

I was laughing at my wife, Stephen. I was
having a fishing 'contest' with her, kind of like in football - (but, with far less contact).

When I caught this Rainbow trout, she told me: "That's a WEE LITTLE FISH, mate!!" :)

It was much funnier at the time. These trout
really are quite healthy, and go GOOD with a red wine OR your favorite beverage!!!

Have a rather nice weekend, Stephen.
