Voted 10/10 | It reminds of when we were up there in January 08. Did you go by or stop and look at the Weeping Wall was one of my favorite climbs up there was able to climb it with my son next to me on another route. Him calling me old man and me calling him young punk we are going to beat you to the top. Well we ended up doing one more short pitch than him and his partner and they beat us down so I bought the coffee and bagels the next day. I love that drive along those moutains. Nice story about climbing with your son.
I don't know if I stopped at the Weeping Wall, I didn't have a proper map with me so I'm not so good with all the names. But I sure stopped a lot of times to take in the views and snap a photo, so I probably did check out the Weeping Wall :-)
I was only alone, so no climbing for me unfortunately. Still had a terrific time though, I had only 3 days in the area and I made the most of it by going out before sunrise and get back at sunset. The icefields parkway is indeed one of the best drives ever!
