Boston Peak as viewed from... [ Sizes: Orig | Small | Thumb ]
Boston Peak as viewed from...
Boston Peak as viewed from its high South Ridge (the ridge that leads over to Sahale Peak). The closer you get to Boston, the more imposing it looks. But first you've got to get to its base. The traverse along the crest and east side of the ridge is exhilaratingly exposed and often loose too. There was one butt-shimmy section followed by a steep sidehill traverse. Fortunately, it was only class 4. July 29, 2000.
