Curious Uinta Ground Squirrel

A ground squirrel's life is a hazardous one, with badgers, coyotes, and other predators all around. But I only wanted to take this little guy's picture, and was rewarded with a nice pose. Photo taken mid-June 2008, on the Lamar Valley Trail, Yellowstone NP.
