thinking ... but, surprised the lid wasn't
rusted on. Talk about a jagged ridge there in
the background. Wooooo .. it's makin' me dizzy!

It was a little creaky, but it opened. That section of the ridge is the crux of the traverse. Looks intriguing.

We climbed this in late June, 2004. I remember that jar (I think it's an instant coffee jar). Brings back great memories of Hungry Packer and good friends. And, yeah, the way to Darwin wasn't exactly paved with yellow bricks.
