Painted Tepee Peak-- Summit Pinnacle [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Painted Tepee Peak-- Summit Pinnacle
The balanced rock that J. Gordon Edwards says is the highpoint is on the right. The spire on the left both looks and is higher, without any doubt. Reaching it requires exposed Class 3/4 moves on rotten rock from the other side.

Rising Wolf Mountain and Two Medicine Lake are in the background. On the left is part of Sinopah Mountain.

The weather wasn't looking too good. Did you get out without getting wet? Sinopah is also on the left. Nice perspective.

Amazingly, it never rained. The winds were fierce, though, and almost knocked me over a few times. I actually crawled on one narrow spot on the way to the top of the pinnacle. I was afraid one of those gusts would blow me right off otherwise.

Two answers: teaching and a very patient, understanding wife. I truly feel fortunate for both.
