I'm sure it does look familiar. I liked your recent pictures of Chief Mtn and especially the ones from the SW with the route on it. You probaly came down this notch.

sure did. we ascended to the notch by climbing up and over that large rock on the left; from there, we climbed down into the notch and found the climber's trail.
