Well some lakes form by rain, and I didn't see any snow around, so I was just wondering.

We dont get much rain in Idaho, there are a cirque of peaks about 4 of them that feed the upper Norton lake, then the lower Norton and then this one. The glacier and snow fields last well in to the next snowfall.
