The Gran Pilaster on the Pala di San Martino
The route goes right up the semi-detached-looking tower in the center of the picture. The rock is beautiful, and the climbing surprisingly moderate.

My visiting friend still has our map and I won't get it back for a month, so I can't confirm. BUT, I followed a via ferrata up to a high pass, then turned right on easy trail up the back side of a tower. It seemed like the only easily accessible view point in the area.

Sounds like either Cima Val di Roda or Cima di Ball, Probably the former. Then the tower should have been Campanile Pradidali, the high pass Passo di Ball. But it depends from where you started ...
