The Ridge Between Chisholm and Overlook [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
The Ridge Between Chisholm and Overlook
It might seem tempting to climb the saddle directly, especially if your goal is just one of the two peaks, but don't try it unless you are equipped for Class 5 conditions or are comfortable free soloing 5.7 (not me).

The Class 4 northwest couloir that can be used to attain Chisholm's summit ridge just a couple hundred feet below the summit is partially visible near the left end of the picture.

Gallatin Range, MT-- July 2008
