This picture I dedicate to Angeline VanDaele, who gracioiusly let me cross her property to visit North Dakota's highest point for the grand sum of $5. Mrs. VanDaele passed away on October 20, 2003 about 3.5 months after I carried on an enjoyable conversation with her about who knows what. This is a picture of the White Butte "massif" from the NE, from the road along its east side. The top of North Dakota is the rounded summit at right with the green glacier on it. July 2003.
