Tundra Ridges and the Northern Absarokas [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Tundra Ridges and the Northern Absarokas
This view is from the route to Beartooth Butte, just about where the horsehoe-shaped ridgeline makes its curve back south to Beartooth Butte's smmit plateau. The ridgeline in the foreground leads back to the trailhead and is indicative of the type of terrain the entire route covers. In the background are the peaks of the Sunlight Basin area in the Absaroka Range.
