Gardner Headwall [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Gardner Headwall
Definitely the more interesting way to reach the summit of Stockaid, as opposed to parking along the Beartooth Highway and strolling for maybe five minutes to the highpoint. The long couloir in the middle is the route I took; climbing the rock walls enclosing its left side would require technical gear.

This photo is a stitch of two others and is better viewed in the Large format. The seam is visible right around the middle, but I'm trying to show the mountain, not my meager (thankfully) photo-manipulation skills.
