Taillon glacier [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Taillon glacier
This is the northeast face of Taillon, seen from a spot slightly under the Col des Sarradets. The remains of the Taillon Glacier cover the bottom of the small valley. The normal route from the Brèche de Roland to the summit goes (basically) along the ridge, contouring the rocky gendarme (known as "Dedo") by its north face in summer or by the south in winter. 3rd August 2008.
