On AUGUST-6th 2008 the north coast of Kent along with the Thames and Medway Estuary were struck with an amazing thunder storm that lasted about 6 hours. This lightning bolt was taken looking from Lower Twydall on the Medway waterfront across towards the Medway Towns. This lightning bolt was whilst the storm was approaching just before the torrential rain came down. This was a great storm and was the worst one of the year so far.
