Cholitas (= traditionally dressed women) as female porters at Illimani high camp (app. 5.500 m).

Those girls really impressed me: while we are wearing our "high tech expedition clothes & equipment", they ascend to highcamp with their traditional Pollera and many underskirts, wearing ordinary sandals and carrying loads, we wouldn't even be able to carry for a short time.
They have my deepest respect.
