View up the Hollental from Schwarzenkopf
Though the Schwarzenkopf is a small mountain surrounded by larger neighbors, you can get some nice views of those neighbors from its summit. This photo looks up the Hollental toward Germany's highest mountain, the Zugspitze -- which is hiding behind the clouds.

Clouds rolling in from the south around noon characterized every day of the week we were there in early August 2008.

"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."   --Ernest Hemingway
