shot Kevin! Some of the best views of clouds that I have seen have been in the Sawatch.

Something from an episode of The Science Guy? That's the formation of a cloud sea,
right??

Awesome.

What a spectacular moment in time. A beautiful photograph. It looks like a waterfall. A "cloudfall". Was this in the early morning? (it looks as if it is).

And tell me, were you just as taken aback when you saw this image as I was when I opened it? Truly, a once in a life time shot. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for the comments, guys. Yes, this shot was taken right after sunrise on the summit of Pomeroy Mtn. I wish the sun would have lit it up, but it turned out to be a rare view anyway. It was cool taking the pic knowing I was about to traverse that ridge!

My wife and I had this same type of experience years ago seeing the low flowing clouds during a bivy on Granite Peak. It is one of our fondest memories.

Thanks for taking me back.
