Upsteam Approach and View
The easy way to approach the base of Cornice is from the clifftops just downstream of the crag (a simple Class 3 scramble), but this upstream-facing view shows the types of ledges and outcrops one encounters if approaching the crag from the other direction, especially via a riverside traverse. The particular conditions here are harder Class 3 and Class 4.
