Approaching Trogkofel / Creta di Aip from the Austrian side (Rudnigalm), we first go up by meadows, which are in winter popular ski slopes. From a small side ridge we see, how the path will approach the E and NE face of the mountain. Across the screes and over the pine-bush overgrown area the path will reach the rocks, then the ferrata climbs by the ravine up and then crosses towards the right, until it reaches a nice balcony on the right skyline. Then it goes by the skyline and also a bit behind it on top. August 7th, 2008.
