...soooo many incredible photos. What kind of camera and lenses do you use? Do you use an editing program. Your shots are so clear and bright.

Thanks again for your comments. I have a Canon Rebel XT, the low end of the Canon DSLR line, and now about two generations old. With it comes a Canon 10-22 mm (16-35mm equivalent) lens and a Tamron 18-250mm. Also, a lightweight but decent tripod, and polarizing filters.

About half of the shots in this album were processed using High Dynamic Range software, called Photomatix. Of those, about half were shot for HDR in the field (3 shots at +-2 EV), and half were processed form a single RAW image that was then saved at different EVs on the computer.

The other shots received little or no post processing. My goal is to try to show the scene as I recall it. I'll even turn down the saturation if I think it looks unreal! Of course this is all subjective and depends on how your monitor is adjusted.

Thanks very much! I explored the area the evening before and found these flowers, then returned to this spot in morning with this shot in mind.
