View of the typical aspect of the Moncayo (2315m) over the haze, almost hung of the sky, from the summit of Mortxe, near of the town of Pamplona (more than 100 km). The mountain of the right with the hermitage is Sarbil (Cabezón de Echauri). Jan 6, 2004.

Hasn't voted | Es la suerte de estar aquí el 6 de enero, salió un día fabuloso que se veía todo (También los Pirineos hasta Bisaurín, Collarada,...es decir a más de 300 Km y la sierra de la demanda,...) Para que luego digan que los montes de la cuenca de Pamplona son pequeños (toma pedazo de vistas a 30 minutos de casa y tras sólo 1h20min de subida). Eso sí para que se vea bien el Moncayo hay que tener mucha suerte ya que lo normal es que mirando hacía allí sólo se vea bruma o una tenue línea que se confunde con una nube (yo estaba obsesionado mirando la ermita de Echauri cuando al mirar levemente hacia la izquierda lo ví y alucinaba).
