View on ascent to Bluebell Lake Peak (12,260) [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
View on ascent to Bluebell Lake Peak (12,260)
On the way up to the highest point of the 1st day of our Wilson backpack, the view opens way across the vast Garfield Basin to the NE. The biggest lakes are nearby Bluebell and distant Five-Point by the timberline. "Our" tomorrow's peaks on the skyline are double-top South Porcupine (12,729), North Porcupine (12,892) projecting against the ridge of Wilson, and Tungsten. And then further to the right are more 13ers - scalloped Powell, Henrys Fork, and Kings.
