This view looks down onto the saddle between Carbonate and Tabeguache Peak due west. The Jennings Creek to West Ridge Route utilizes this saddle as the turning point of the route. The route climbs the valley from the south (left of photo) and then climbs east (toward camera) to ascend to the west ridge of Tabeguache Peak via Class 2 tundra and talus. Carbonate and Cyclone Peaks tower in the background.

This route does not follow the former Jennings Creek route, which is CLOSED.
