Rattlesnake
He's a little hard to see, but you can see part of the body just in the right side of the sage brush. I almost walked right into him on my way to Peak 6442, before the rattling and quick movement out of the corner of my eye made me scoot. It got him pretty riled up and we had to track a little off the trail to get around him. This picture was taken on our way back about an hour later; this time he decided to leave rather than deny us passage...
