The trail actually starts well to the west (right) near the smaller hump. Be careful not to wonder too close to the guard’s house though. I've got a better annotated map if you want to pm em.

jenningsb is right. the trail starts a little closer to small hump on the right (next to the guard house). my yellow line was a bit loose... ;)
