For the first 2 weeks of June this was the most consistent view we had of Eagle Peak during our job training at the Longmire campground. I tried to summit several times and was thwarted by lots of snow, horrible weather (constant snow, fog, and rain), and no snowshoes. It was only 3.5 miles away from me then. Now... about 2000 miles away. Oh well. If I ever get back I'll do it in August.
