Limestone Lovers Unite! [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Limestone Lovers Unite!
I love limestone! The ancient lake that once filled AZ's Verde Valley left plenty of limestone for all to enjoy. The Verde River is still cutting through Earth's layers, leaving these beautiful crags behind.

In some places, natural alcoves and caves decorate the cliffs. I keep
searching for signs of Mountain Lion, and keep coming up empty.

Thanks, Jacek! This "limestone" probably has
a lot of stuff mixed in with it. I haven't
seen any fossils yet, but I'll continue to
look! Thanks for your valuable information!!
