This is extremely charming!

Do you feel a strange SILENCE on Summitpost?
Like, nobody is around on the web anymore??

Perhaps, everybody is strolling about the
cobbles and shops, looking for some winter
mountaineering equipment???

I think it's going to be a long winter.
Have a good day, Stephen!

A long winter might be good Larry. I think most people are out wandering around trying to figure out where all there money has gone, especially if you had some in Iceland!!! Maybe Mr Faulds has all of it.

Cheers for the vote.

You are INDEED onto

something my friend:

"Money, its a crime!
Share it fairly but don't take a slice of my pie.
Money, so they say,
Is the ROOT of all evil today."

Re: What a place

Thanks for the vote. Think I'll do that 16km walk next year sometime and spend a weekend exploring the area.
Cheers

It's been a while

since I've been in the Highlands ~ 10yrs, though one never forgets. The heathers are quite unique. I first went in the year they landed on the Moon, and it was just about as cold in the Larig Ghru.
