AZ's version of The Alps [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
AZ's version of The Alps
Lockett Meadow Highlights!

Can't make it to Switzerland next summer?

No worries. Arizona has its own little version of the Alps nestled in the
Kachina Peaks Wilderness Area, just north of Flagstaff.

The trail, which begins at Lockett Meadow, climbs gradually through the
pines and aspens to the Inner Basin of the San Francisco Peaks.

In all their fall beauty, these shimmering aspen frame the south face of
11,474' Rees Peak.
