Though Vesper Peak is not visible in this image (it's directly behind Sperry Peak), this is the fantastic view one gets at the trailhead (for the Sunrise Mine-Headlee Pass Trail). Although, the trees have grown up quite a bit along the road since this panorama was taken. The view is roughly south to west. This is the head of the South Fork Stillaguamish River. Left to right: north end of Morning Star Peak, Wirtz Basin, Sperry Peak (top in clouds), Eldredge Basin (with Pt. 5258 in clouds up valley), and Pt. 4241. August 1995.
