Looking down the abandoned...
Looking down the abandoned trackbed of the very direct Monocline Route, the shortest route on Mount Morrison. This route serves as the descent portion of the Amphitheater Loop Combination, in which no time is wasted in a speedy drop to the Amphitheater parking lot and Red Rocks Park. Winter, 2004.

I was up there this afternoon. I always worry about twisting an ankle on the old trackbed. What a way to go...



Here's a panorama shot from just below your vantage. I think your camera would have come in handy here too.
