Lake Latonka is located just outside the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, OK. The fingers of land in the image rise immediately to Mount Scott. When this particular sunrise image was shot in October 08, the water temperature was slightly warmer than the air temperature (which was 38°F), thus creating the rising wisps of fog.
