Yes, I climbed the highest prominent peak you see on the right, Sgurr Nan Gillean, whose view from the top you have here, one of the easiests of this range, but still with a great ridge to scramble. Said by some to be Scotland's finest peak... Yes, in some ways very similar to the High Tatras, apart from the rock type, a volcanic type of granite called gabbro, very abrasive. Another easy top I climbed there was Bruach na Frithe.

Most of Ślęża is gabbro:-) (it's actually plutonic, not volcanic)
No rope needed to climb Sgurr Nan Gillean?

I've been on Sleza several times and I can assert you that the rock on Skye is really something else ! It looks like a sort of black granite in which are welded sharp cristals; it you climb Sgurr Nan Gillean no rope is required but I will advise you to take old shoes and not the newest North Face jacket ! (as for me, after 2 days in Skye my shoes soles got older like after 20 hikes, and I badly scratched my trousers on several places while scrambling !)
