A different perspective compared to the Alice Lakes side. I found Perfect to be one of the more interesting scrambles in the Range.

I agree- about the most climbing/alpine bang for your hiking buck in the Sawtooths.

I read your TR on your site and that seemed like a cool way to go- nice job!. For a dessert next time you may want to try "Slide Peak" just NW of Perfect (and SW of 10044). It has a really interesting slot going up it's SW ridge. 9997 would be cool, especially early/late season given it's proximity to the trailhead.

Slide Peak looked interesting, but off-route for us. I'll go back and do 9997 for its own merit.
