Coming from the north on the small notch in the W ridge of Monte Chiavals, this nice panorama towards the south opens. Just behind Monte Pisimoni in the centre, there's Monte Lavara/Javor, already in Julian Alps. The rightmost summit is Monte Plauris/Lopič. The warm autumn slopes are inviting us to do the last 150m of ascent on Monte Chiavals. October 19th, 2008.
