This pic was made in the same moment than the one with horses. Yes, Ossau is a big mountain. Not 3000 but almost, 2884. But its size is enhanced by the fact there is no other mountain around.

	Voted 10/10	Personally, I find this one better than the one with horses (though I like horses); I'm not sure why, I guess the horses distract attention from the magnificent mount. BTW This peak does deserve its own page by Eric, right?

Despite its appearance it has a quite easy route to the top with only medium level scrambling, I did it in 2002 :

The normal route to the Ossau can be crowded during nice week ends (especially this one, cause there is no other easy ruote), but for me the frequentation in the Pyrenees remains a lot smaller than what I've seen so far in Tatras. The biggest tourist traffic is perhaps in Gavarnie, but few valleys further you can hike alone a whole day...

	Voted 10/10	Aha, so it’s like the road to Morskie Oko (5,000 visitors per day on a sunny Saturday) versus the Slovak trail up the Biela Voda, just across the stream (was about 50 – I’m afraid there would be more now that the frontier post has vanished).
