ah...Mammoth caves KY, Lechuguilla NM, Mistery Falls TN... some of the most beautiful caves in the world and they're all in the US. You lucky guys!!

ciao b.
(where do you get permit to enter the cave, btw?)

Re: ah...The park website is http://www.nps.gov/maca.
It's set up to sell guided cave tours, and doesn't have information about non-guided trails. To get information about a permit, you'll have to contact the park staff directly.

Been there!I have pics of the inside of this cave listed in my SP gallery. It's fairly level, has a stream down the middle of it.
Never more than about 3ft in height, it goes about 12ft straight back into the hill, then makes a sharp right and continues for about 40ft. It terminates in a room big enough to sit upright in. Requires a belly crawl over a rocky mud slump.
There is a second passage, which is on the right, immediately inside the entrance. It reconnects with the main passagem though.
Watch out for critters, especially in the winter.

Re: Been there! Is it this one?
Maybe you could create an album of your shots and attach it to the main MCNP page.

Re: Been there! At the moment, all of my cave shots hosted on here are of that cave, though I plan to expand.
Would this one bee a valued addition?

Re: Been there!Sure, link them all!
The MCNP official site is useless for wild caving, so any info you have would be great. If not SP, where?
