That is a man-made shaft for entering to the cave. Some years ago (Hasan Sabah period), some people lived in the cave and this shaft was their hidden enterance to the cave! Its height is about 11 m.

Hasan Sabah? seems like they were all over the country, Alamoot, Khorasan...
