On just about every mountain peak summit I've been on in the Oregon, Nevada and Utah areas, I often encounter a register with these three names. I just want to salute John Vitz, Gordon MacLeod and Barbara Lilley for the amazing
efforts they have gone to in visiting almost every peak in particularly the desert areas of Utah, Nevada and California. This lonely register page was found on Stevens BM, a very lonely prominence peak in Utah. Note the dates
that these three have signed. We were the first to add our signatures in
several years. Someone needs to write a story about these three amazing people.
