Hasn't voted | The DOD used to let civilians go for a ride, like news reporters, etc. But everyone in high places suffers from knee-jerk reactions and a few problems killed that practice. Now if you want a ride you gotta pay the price of admission - college degree, 4 months of boot camp, 3 years of flight training, combat tours.... Here is some more interesting stuff:
