This is an amazing image. I'm curious though, did your two friends have to hold still for two minutes?

You're the first to notice the 2 people in the photo (who are actually my mom and aunt enjoying the view). Yep, they stood there for the length of the exposure. They probably would have still showed up if they had been there for 1 minute before moving away.
