Hasn't voted | The Mallos de Riglos are one of the mythical places of the rock climbing in Spain. In them there were training constant some of the most famous spanish climbers as Rabadá and Navarro that they died on they having surprised for a storm in the north face of the Eiger. The refuge that uses as housing of the Aragonese Federation of Mountain takes his name in honor of these climbers. | | Posted Mar 29, 2004 4:32 am |

Voted 10/10 | La foto estupenda, y el comentario histórico aún mejor. Sacada desde el mirador de la carretera, ¿no?. Si quieres añadirlo Rabadá y Navarro murieron en la norte del Eiger en verano de 1964, concretamente en el nevero ("hanging glacier") de la Araña ("The Spider"). Siempre se ha dudado de si pudieron haber subido más rápido en caso de haber tenido crampones de 12 puntas, se cree que al no tenerlos se vieron obligados a tallar escalones demasiado tiempo y eso les hizo muy lentos y les impidió escapar de la tormenta. | | Posted Mar 30, 2004 9:51 am |
