Piegan Mountain with Piegan Glacier [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Piegan Mountain with Piegan Glacier
Taken from the Piegan Pass Trail. According to J. Gordon Edwards' A Climber's Guide to Glacier National Park, one can ascend Piegan Mountain rather easily from a point just a mile or two east of Logan Pass. From the top it is possible to either take a ridge walk to nearby Pollock Mountain or to descend down the mountain's north face to Piegan Pass.
