I left at 9 am, I made it to the peak at Noon, It was 17 degrees, and the wind was howling, I took enough time to take a couple HDRs. The snow was about 14 inches deep on the back side, I think I fell down more times than I ever have in one hike. I just wanted to get it over with. All in all it was an awesome hike. 3 hours up and 1 1/2 down. Dang Snow!!!!!

Voted 10/10 | this photo to the "Northern UT Ranges" page.
It's interesting to note that when this snow
melts, even though it will produce freshwater -
it all eventually gets mixed with the salt...
The same salt we later consume in fries and burgers!!! Geez, I just made myself hungry!!! | | Posted Jan 2, 2009 12:45 pm |
