HDR of Frary Peak [ Sizes: Orig | Small | Thumb ]
HDR of Frary Peak
I left at 9 am, I made it to the peak at Noon, It was 17 degrees, and the wind was howling, I took enough time to take a couple HDRs. The snow was about 14 inches deep on the back side, I think I fell down more times than I ever have in one hike. I just wanted to get it over with. All in all it was an awesome hike. 3 hours up and 1 1/2 down. Dang Snow!!!!!

This is a gem of a pic. Certainly one that is worthy of pic of the day consideration.

lcarreauI'm glad you attached

this photo to the "Northern UT Ranges" page.
It's interesting to note that when this snow
melts, even though it will produce freshwater -
it all eventually gets mixed with the salt...

The same salt we later consume in fries and burgers!!! Geez, I just made myself hungry!!!
